Changing media consumption patterns are radically impacting consumer purchase behaviour. We have evolved from push communication mass media (i.e., broadcast television and radio), to pull digital platforms (i.e., the internet and hand-held devices), with the consumer now determining how, when, and what information they desire. Progressive retailers recognise this, and are enhancing their in-store communication platforms in response.
